One of the main health events in the state of Rio de Janeiro addressed technological trends in various health fields in its third edition. 

O SAUDI was gold sponsor of the 3rd edition of Health Tech, held by Assespro – RJ (Federation of Associations of Brazilian Information Technology Companies) on October 27th and 28th, with live broadcast on YouTube and Zoom.

The event featured a spectacular team of experts, who discussed extremely relevant topics for the integration of technology with the different fields of health. Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Innovation, Data Science, Business Intelligence and LGPD applied to healthcare are just some of the topics covered in the third edition of the event. Topics such as Operators and Insurance Companies, Digital Health and Journey of Life were also presented by various guest speakers. Each day of the event had two rooms where different topics were discussed with the participation of two experts and a moderator, responsible for opening the day's activities.

According to a report produced by Global Market Insights, the health tech market is expected to reach US$ 504 billion by 2025. In Brazil, it is already possible to notice the growing interest of large companies in this field, both in the emergence of startups focused on this sector and for training and learning from the medical community.

“The world of healthcare is increasingly connected and systems integrated with applications will be the path to a more inclusive society with a better quality of life. The new health technology companies, called health techs, will promote a revolution by establishing the missing link between academic research and companies in Brazil”, says Maria Luiza Reis, president of Assespro- RJ.
